EY is excited to announce a career opportunity for a senior or staff in our rapidly growing Global Compliance & Reporting - Global Services (GCR-GS) team. We seek candidates with accounting or tax expertise, experience working on complex global projects, a demonstrated ability to team with others and an interest in working in a professional services environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accounting and tax services across the globe in support of dynamic multinational corporations. As an integral member of the GCR-GS team, the successful candidate will help to connect the dots between the local and global accounting and tax processes of these clients across the entire record-to-report process.

Responsibilities
The GCR - GS Senior assists in the implementation and execution of global compliance and reporting engagements. Representative tasks include:
Status reporting and issue escalation
Maintain centralized global calendar of accounting and tax deliverables
Monitor global status and key performance indicators (KPI) and escalate potential issues as appropriate
Perform regular reporting to key stakeholders
Monitor global controversy and risk
Connecting to local developments
Monitor local country financial reporting and tax regulatory developments
Monitor local entity business and personnel changes
Facilitate the proactive identification of tax planning opportunities
Develop a broad understanding and communicate to clients reporting requirements and the impact of legislative changes across multiple jurisdictions.
Facilitating document sharing and collaboration
Maintain centralized repository of client deliverables
Maintain centralized permanent file
Set and maintain security restrictions
Manage deliverable/governance process, such as changes in due dates and project milestones
Standardize deliverable outputs for re-use of information
Managing global delivery of services
Prepare centralized budget, analyze budget to actual results and reconcile global fees
Maintain centralized change request process
Monitor performance against service level agreements
Practice development
Assist in documenting proposal scope and fees and responding to scoping questions
Assist in orals demonstrations to prospective and current clients
Assist with the preparation of client proposals
Share market trends and discuss developments with internal and external clients
Infrastructure
Assist with internal projects as assigned
Requirements
To qualify, candidates must have:
An undergraduate degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent
3 - 5 years of related work experience
CPA or Enrolled Agent certification or a willingness to obtain
Desire to progress through the ranks in a public accounting environment
Strong project management competencies
Demonstrated technology proficiency and eagerness to expand technology and process skills
Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills
Willingness to travel to client sites - minimal (Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
