Jericho Center, VT Jericho Center, VT Full-time Full-time $15 - $17 an hour $15 - $17 an hour Jericho Country Store, one of Vermont's oldest stores, is seeking an energetic, positive and motivated individual for the position of full time cashier, Monday-Friday (part-time hours/alternate times will be considered!).
Hours are 6:
30am-2:
30pm.
You're done early! Experience in a busy retail or food service setting and at least 1 year of relevant experience is preferred but we will happily train the right individual.
Pay is commensurate with experience, ranging from $15.
00-$17.
00/hour, plus tips! We pool tips as a staff and on many days an additional $2-3/hour in tips is easily attainable.
We are a busy, fast-paced country store specializing in quality take-out food - sandwiches, burgers, breakfast, ice cream, etc.
Candidate must possess a positive attitude, patient disposition, and be a great team player.
Primary duties are cash register work, food order fulfillment, & light cleaning but flexibility is a must - you may be needed to help clean, make food, do dishes, and more! Busy, fast paced work but in a great environment with exceptional co-workers! Must be a people person and enjoy the daily banter with our regulars.
We offer competitive pay and paid sick time and vacation after 12 months of service for full time work (35 hours/week).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
